Richard is an experienced teacher, acting coach and public speaking specialist who has helped students secure places at some of the UK's leading conservatoires and drama schools for more than thirty years.
Drawing on experience as a former Head of Stage & Screen at PQA, former Course Director at Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts, current Dissertation Supervisor at Bird College and External Examiner for Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, he combines extensive educational expertise with professional industry insight.
Whether preparing for an audition, examination, presentation, interview or public performance, Richard offers expert, tailored coaching designed to help each client realise their potential. He works with children, young people and adults at every stage of their development.
Students coached by Richard have gone on to train at many of the UK's leading conservatoires and drama schools, including RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, ArtsEd, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
A former Course Director at Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts and External Examiner for Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Richard combines over thirty years' teaching experience with professional insight gained from his work across drama schools, conservatoires and higher education institutions. He also holds a current Enhanced DBS Certificate.
